During my Internship with Cohen Commercial Realty, it allowed me to truly form a passion for commercial real estate. I came into the summer not knowing what I wanted to do, and this internship allowed me to learn every department of commercial real estate to find my true passion. I would recommend anyone to apply for this internship because you will leave with the skills necessary to succeed in commercial real estate and the knowledge of what field you want to pursue in commercial real estate whether that be brokerage, marketing, property management or accounting. This is my 4th summer with Cohen Commercial and my initial internship is what made me realize my passion for real estate and has given me knowledge that I have been able to build upon each summer.

My internship experience with Cohen Commercial Realty has been nothing short of exceptional. From day one, I was welcomed into their team and was treated like family. I was given the opportunity to dive into the world of commercial real estate surrounded by knowledgeable professionals and mentors. I gained invaluable insights and learned practical skills that will shape my future career. While interning, I learned about tenant representation, property management, marketing, and much more. The supportive environment at Cohen Commercial allowed me to grow and advance my confidence in the real estate industry. They celebrated me but also pushed and encouraged me to achieve the goals that I had for myself. I had the privilege of working on meaningful projects that challenged me to learn new techniques and strategies. My confidence and passion for real estate has grown immensely because of the Cohen Commercial team. I not only concluded my internship with a deeper understanding of commercial real estate but also reaffirmed my passion for the field. I am incredibly grateful to the entire team at Cohen Commercial Realty for their mentorship, encouragement, and support.

My time spent interning was helpful because I was still pretty set on getting into residential brokerage versus commercial. I was able to come in under Chris Haass and Scott Witkowski on the tenant rep side and learn a lot about the business. They were able to show me how the business is conducted and did so in a way that made me want to pursue commercial brokerage. It was a great experience on how to learn to do the business the correct way before even starting. It was a big reason I was able to hit the ground running as soon as I started here. I already knew what I wanted to do and how to do it.

While I was an intern at Cohen Commercial, I learned a bit of everything which helped a lot in the short and long term. I got some insight into accounting, property management, leasing, sales, and tenant representation. This helped me see things from a lot of different avenues and add value down the road when I dealt with clients. I learned a lot and got a lot of hands-on work with the brokers, marketing, property management and accounting teams. Being an intern at Cohen Commercial taught me as much as any internship or job I held to that point.

My internship with Cohen Commercial has been incredible. The team made me feel welcome from day one and asking for help never felt like a chore. I was able to work under Samantha Brinkerhoff who was able to help me gain real experiences in the industry. From the tasks assigned to me I was able to better my skills and learn from my mistakes. Samantha also helped me with any questions I had about my future interviews. Working with the team was an amazing experience, and I am so grateful for the amazing opportunity that Cohen Commercial has given me.

My summer internship at Cohen Commercial provided me with a plethora of knowledge and hands-on experience in the CRE field. I am very grateful for my time spent with the Cohen Commercial team.

I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed my summer internship at Cohen Commercial. Not only did I leave with a wealth of CRE knowledge, I enjoyed working with every single broker in the office.

Returning for a second summer at Cohen Commercial has been one of the best decisions I've made. Bryan, Mike, Scott, and Chris have created an environment where asking questions is encouraged, and learning through real work is part of the day-to-day. I've been able to take on meaningful tasks, sit in on real conversations, and slowly build a deeper understanding of the commercial real estate world. There's still a lot I'm picking up, but being surrounded by people who are experienced, supportive, and willing to share what they know has really helped me grow in the field. I'm grateful to be part of it.
